Dear fellow Homo sapiens, or if you prefer conscious mammals! And of course, friends nonetheless: I created my blog in order to speak my very weird mind, mostly about three subjects (as I identify myself and my state of mind with them): Atheism, as I was born in the Middle East and saw and felt the affects of Islam; Homosexuality and equal rights, as a gay man who has tasted the Homophobia and also Sexism in that society; and Liberalism and political philosophy, which I think is a good ground for secular values and criticism of fundamentalism. If you wish, visit and join your state of mind to mine. I hope they don’t short circuit!

  1. What is so weird about wanting to be valued like everyone else with dignity and respect. You are no different from another person. Everyone is the same. How does being gay hurt anyone? It doesn’t. Someone filled with hate set up his hatred for a gender and sexual orientation long ago. Unfortunately for the world it was this hate that someone wrote and later embodied into their doctrine which later was blessed by men as a holy doctrine not for the good of humanity but for selfish interests. What is weird is that both men and women believe the crap.

    1. Well, you are correct in what you say, but not about the about page of my blog. Of course this is only about me, and “my” mind is somewhat weird, which I sometimes let out (I talk for example about the price of death) and sometimes I don’t (some sort of self-censorship if I may say so). Most of it actually has not come out yet, but in time all may be revealed.

And of course I understand what you mean by saying “Everyone is the same”: yes, everyone is the same as having fundamental rights as conscious beings. But obviously not everyone is the same in the literal sense.

      1. Here is my weird thoughts. Everyone is the same in the literal sense. Simply because no two humans are the same. Each have different thoughts, fingerprints, iris patterns, and such. There is actually less than 1 percent biological difference between men and women. That difference is only to biological reproduction. If you equate that men have a biological function and women have a biological function then in that they are the same. It is the fact that these differences are inherit in every one of us that then makes us the same. My mind work oddly as well.

  2. I am a fellow Homo sapiens, who love pondering, and exchange worldviews. I am moved by your about and wish to learn more about atheism and get to know your thoughts as they are different from mine. I am a classical Christian theist, love and respect gays even though I differ and have a lot to learn from them.

I will tag along to first and foremost learn and understand the way you see the world, be challenged in my Christian thinking and I hope if allowed share some input here and then.
